Community organisations, backed by statutory bodies, have come together to work in the best interests of the isolated and vulnerable to support our NHS and vital services. They are operating across the NHS Primary Care Network area known as “Stort Valley and the Villages”, which covers Bishop's Stortford, Sawbridgeworth and the Hadhams with all the hamlets between, down to and including Hunsdon.
The PCN has a population in the region of 63,000 residents. Approximately 10,800 people sit in the over 60 at risk category.
A mix of volunteers and professionals are working together to operate the services under a management body. The safety of the services delivered will be run in line with safeguarding, health and safety, GDPR,
Risk Assessment and Volunteer Management policies.
